Tito's Burritos

Ahh, the famous Tito's Burrito's. Have you guys ever been? If not, you should definitely check them out. I finally got to stop in for the first time with my husband last weekend, and boy were we in for a treat.

We went to the one in Morristown, and as soon as you walk in it gives you a very ALOHA vibe, totally Hawaii. It's the middle of winter here in Jersey but it had me longing for summer. Even the bathroom was decked out which was pretty awesome if I do say so myself. On top of that, the customer service is also top notch. Some food places just have you come and go, and you don't really feel welcome but the employee's really cared and made us feel at home.

Now, let's talk about the food. Let's be serious, that's the real reason you're here right? Ok, well holy crap this food was amazing! Before I got there, I was thinking it was going to be like a Chipotle or Moe's (I live for Moe's queso) but I was extremely mistaken. As soon as I walked in and took a look at the menu I had no idea where to even start to let my eyes wander too. The menu was actually quite overwhelming since they have so many options, they even have vegan and veggie options for those of you who need it. I ended up asking the manager for recommendations since I was completely and utterly lost. She gave us some great ideas and I ended up settling on the Buffalo Chicken Burrito which comes with fried organic chicken tenders, mexi rice, shredded lettuce, buffalo sauce and bleu cheese. I opted without the buffalo sauce since my taste buds are not a fan! Meanwhile my husband got a chicken quesadilla with some melted cheese inside, he's a picky eater so he always plays it safe. We also had to try the chicken tenders which were super crispy along with some ranch dressing and teriyaki sauce that they gave us on the side. They have all different sauces to choose from but the teriyaki sauce was nice and sweet which was right down our alley.

My burrito was literally one of the best I have ever had. It was in no way anything like Moe's or Chipotle. As soon as I saw it coming to our table my mouth started watering, and do not even get me started on my man's chicken quesadilla. The chicken was made nice and fresh as well as the rice and lettuce in my burrito. I didn't hate myself after I ate it, which let's be serious we all feel that way at some point or another. My husband's quesadilla was HUGE, it would definitely be bigger than my stomach but he finished the whole thing. Later I found out that the reason our food tasted as fresh as it was and unlike any other Mexican chain is because most of their food is made organic and right in house, how neat is that!?

Tito's Burritos is really starting to disrupt the food industry with locations popping up everywhere in Jersey. Right now they have five locations which are Summit, Ridgewood, Morristown, South Orange and Boonton and I'll be damned if they do not open any more. If you have not been do yourself a favor and check this place out, I am already dreaming about the next time I'm going back.

XOXO
