Ruth's Chris Steakhouse

Hi everyone, I hope you had a fabulous Monday. Tonight on the blog I will be writing about my experience at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse this weekend and how amazing it was.

My husband and I went to the new location in Paramus, NJ which is located in the Bergen Town Center Mall on Saturday night. It was really easy to find since I grew up in Bergen County but there is almost never any parking there. I made our reservations for 5:30PM and the whole mall was PACKED. Since I am from around there I know a few tricks which I am happy to share, always park towards the back! I know it means you have to walk but you also don't need to drive around for a spot for a half hour or more so I think that's a win right there.

Once we found parking it was game time! As soon as you walk in the revolving doors everything is super high end and fancy. We were greeted right away by the team behind a long counter up front who quickly showed us to our table. Once seated at our booth our server quickly came to us almost immediately. If that is not excellent customer service, I really don't know what is. He went over the drink menu with us, along with appetizers, and the main courses.

I am not much of a drinker but I do love a sweet drink. For my choice of drink I went with a blueberry mojito which I would 10/10 recommend. It's pretty sweet but it was not strong at all and almost tasted like juice. It was served in a large glass as well which lasted me the whole night throughout all our courses.

For our appetizers I got the Sizzling Crab Cakes which is served with two jumbo crab cakes with sizzling lemon butter. I am a huge fan of crab cakes and these were probably the best I have ever had. My husband got the Barbeque Shrimp which was served in wine, butter, garlic and spices which he also throughly enjoyed. We each got our own Lobster Bisque soup as well which had a nice taste to it as well as well as choosing a side to share. I chose the French Fries which had a nice seasoning to it, and Joe chose the Potatoes Au Gratin. These were delicious sliced Idaho potatoes topped with a savory three cheese sauce.

Now it is time to talk about the main courses! I got a Filet cooked medium rare while my husband got a Ribeye also cooked medium rare. The meat was so tender and juicy in both, we each stole a bite of the others because why not? I really can't even pick a favorite the meat didn't need anything else added to it. Once in awhile I'll add some salt but the flavor was so amazing it needed absolutely nothing else.

Ahh, now let's really get down to business and talk about my favorite course every time, dessert. They have a pretty wide range of choices for dessert which actually led me a bit overwhelmed. No worries though, our amazing server once again gave us excellent recommendations. I chose the White Chocolate Bread Pudding which is topped with your choice of four sauces. The sauces to choose from are Orange Cognac, nutty Frangelico, rasberry Chambord, or Coffee Tia Maria. I believe I topped mine with the second one! Joe chose to play it safe and get something he knew he loved which was some fine CRÈME BRÛLÉE. Everything was so amazingly sweet our taste buds were crying in joy.

All in all, I would highly recommend this establishment. They made us feel important and the customer service is one of the best I have ever seen. Along with that, their food is one of the best I have ever had. If you have not been go check out one in your area or hit up the new location in Paramus, and be sure to let them know I sent you.

XOXO

Tay
